Abstract

Det er beskrevet en apparatur og en fremgangsmåte for tørking av en suspensjon av et finfordelt partikkel- formig, fast materiale for å produsere det faste materialet l l det vesentlige tørr og uagglomerert form. Apparaturen Innbefatter et malekammer (1) Inneholdende et partlkkelformlg malemedlum (12), innretninger (21) for innføring av en suspensjon av det partlkkelformlge, faste materiale i malekammeret (1) og et skovlhjul (8, 9) som roterer i malekammeret (1). Malekammeret (1) har en perforert basis (3), hvori- gjennom en oppvarmet gass innføres for å tilveiebringe en oppadgående strøm av gass gjennom malekammeret (1) og gjennom malemediet (12). Ettersom det partlkkel- formlge, faste materialet tørkes, fraktes fine partikler av materialet oppover l oppadgående strømning av gass gjennom malekammeret (1) og kan deretter klassifiseres ved hjelp av klasslfiseringslnnretning (25), som separerer det i det vesentlige tørre produktet l en relativt fin fraksjon og en relativt grov fraksjon. Nedstrøm for malekammeret og for klassifiseringsinnretningen (25), dersom tilstede- værende, er fllterinnretninger som separerer de faste partiklene fra den suspenderte gassen. Fllterinn- retnlngen kan Innbefatte en eller flere sykloner (30) og/eller en posefllter-enhet.
