Abstract

Agglomereringen av finfordelte faststoffer i hvirvelsjikttørkere forgår ved isolering av faststoffene fra en fuktig gassstrøm som er tatt fra tørkeren ved hjelp av en vifte i en fraskiller og tilbakeføring av de finfordelte faststoffpartik- lene i hvirvelsjiktsonen av tørkeren. De fra fraskilleren isolerte finandelene blandes med godset som skal tørkes ved inngangen til tørkeren eller tilføres til tørkeren ved hjelp av tørkeluftstrammen. Fremgangsmåten fører til en vesentlig forbedring av økonomien ved økning av utbyttet av verdifulle stoffer, en mer enhetlig kornstørrelse for produktet og reduksjon av produktandelene som skal fraskilles fra den fuktige gass-strømmen ved hjelp av filter.
