Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for separering av komponenter av en væskeblanding omfattende en mer adsorberbar komponent. (A) , for eksempel C-Ckarboksylsyrer, og en mindre adsorberbar komponent (B), for eksempel vann, hvor den. relative adsorpsjonsevnen for komponent (A), komponent. (B) og en desorpsjonsmiddelvæske (D) med hensyn til et adsorpsjonsmiddel 1 en adsorpsjonskolonne er i. rekkefølgen D>A>B, og denne fremgangsmåten omfatter følgende trinn i rekkefølge: (a) føring av væske-blandingen gjennom en adsorpsjonskolonne inneholdende adsorpsjonsmiddelet og selektiv adsorbering av komponent (A) mens en strøm anriket på komponent (B) føres ut; (b) skylling av adsorpsjonsmiddelet i adsorpsjonskolonnen etter trinn (A) med desorberende væske (D) som er ublandbar med komponent (B) hvorved komponent (A) fortrenges fra adsorpsjonsmiddelet av desorpsjonsmiddelet (D) og fjerning fra adsorpsjonskolonnen av en første væskefasestrøm omfattende en blanding av komponent (A) og komponent (B) og fjerning fra adsorpsjonskolonnen av en annen væskefasestrøm omfattende en blanding av desorpsjonsmiddel (D) og komponent (A); og (c) termisk fortrengning av desorpsjonsmiddel (D) fra adsorpsjonsmiddelet i adsorpsjonskolonnen etter trinn (b).Desorpsjonsmiddelet (D) danner fortrinnsvis en azeotrop med komponent (B). Egnende adsorpsjonsmidler er sterkt mikroporøse, aktiverte karbonmaterialer.
