Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for å separere og analysere hydrokarboner, særlig tunge hydrokarboner, som inneholdes i sedimentære bergarter. Fremgangsmåten omfatter at: A) et prøverør tilføres en stikkprøve på en sedimentær bergart og ett eller flere inerte løsemidler, B) prøverøret forvarmes, C) løsemiddelet og hydrokarbonene som tidligere befant seg i bergarten, fjernes, D) dampen kondenseres og føres til en separerings- og. analyse innre tning.Det er også beskrevet et apparat for å utøve fremgangsmåten.
