Abstract
Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte og en anordning til inspeksjon av en oftalmlsk linse der anordningen omfatter et kamera (16) som skal fange opp et bilde av en oftalmisk linse (12) som er blitt belyst med en lyskilde (14). Plasseringen og styrken på hvert bildeelement i kameraet blir omformet til en elektrisk størrelse som så blir overført og lagret i et minne (46). En datamaskin (28) som har instruksjoner om sammenligning av styrkeverdien og plasseringsverdlen for blldeelementene begynner nær sentrum av reseptor- feltet (70) og fortsetter mot kanten av feltet inntil et styrkeavvik blir påvist. Ved vurdering av de blldeelementer som har en styrkevariasjon fremkommer det et omriss for linsens (12) kant (72). Det dannes en ring (96) som omslutter den virkelige linsekant (72). Alle bildeelementer blir omdannet fra en absolutt styrkeverdi til en gradientverdi representert med to overgangskanter (94, 96). Utdrag av detaljer utføres for å lokalisere defekte bildeelementer og plassere dem i grupper. Straks gruppene er bestemt får hver av disse en verdi basert på antallet, type og grad av alvorllghet for de defekte bildeelementer som er plassert i denne gruppe. Ut fra dette kan det gis en vektet verdi for hele linsen og linsen blir enten godtatt eller kassert.
