Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for belegging av varmefølsomme materialer med pulvermallng, som er basert på gjentatte oppvarmlngssykluser av malingsbelegg ved bestråling, f.eks. Infrarød bestråling, med mellomliggende avkjøllngssykluser, hvorved det foreligger en temperaturforskjell mellom malingsbe- legget og substratet, slik at filmdannelse og etter- følgende herding av malingen tillates uten å skade substratet.
