Abstract
Olefiner fremstilles fra en parafin inneholdende fem eller færre karbonatomer ved å a) innføre en dehydrogeneringskatalysator til toppen av en rørformet nedstrømsreaktor for å danne en katalysatorstrøm, (b) innføre en matestrøm omfattende en parafin inneholdende 5 eller færre karbonatomer inn i katalysatorstrømmen ved et innføringspunkt for innmatningen, (c) blande katalysatorstrømmen og innmatningsstrømmen i en blandesone for å danne en blandet strøm, (d) føre den blandede strøm nedad gjennom reaksjonss- onen ved en temperatur i området 480-870'C og ved et trykk i området 0,7-7 kp/cm2 til å gi et avløp omfattende olefiner, og (e) føre avløpet gjennom en separator for å separere katalysatoren fra avløpet og derved danne en separat katalysatorstrøm og en ren avløpsstrøm.
