Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for ekstracellulær fremstilling av homopolysakkarider med molekylvekt fra 5 til 25 millioner med utelukkende /3-1,3-D-glukopyranoseenheter i hovedkjeden, hvorav hver tredje er 13-1,6-glykosidisk forbundet med en ytterligere glukoseenhet, karakterisert ved at mikroorganismer i form av minst en av soppstammene DSM 6318, DSM 6319 og DSM 6320 dyrkes i et næringsmedium under luftgjennomblåsing og bevegelse ved en temperatur i området fra 15 til 40°C, at fermentatlosningen deretter skilles fra cellemassen, og det dannede vannløselige homopolysakkarid isoleres derifra på vanlig måte, samt de nevnte soppstammer, og anvendelse av polysakkaridene.
