Abstract

En fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av en elektrokjemisk celle (12) er kjennetegnet ved trinnene termisk sprøyting av stabilisert zirkoniumoksid over et dopet lantanmanganitt-luftelektroderør (14) for å frembringe et elektrolyttlag (15), belegging med elektrisk ledende partikler over elektrolytten, påføring av overtrykk til elektrolyttlagets (15) ytterside, tilføring av yttrium- og zirkonium- og halogeniddamper til elektrolyttlagets ytterside og tilførsel av en oksygenkilde til elektrolyttlagets innerside, oppvarming for å forårsake oksygenreaksjon med halogeniddampene slik at eventuelle elektrolyttporer lukkes og det dannes et metalloksidbelegg på og mellom partiklene og det frembringes en utvendig brensel-elektrode (16).
