Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en limt rørskjøt omfattende en rørdel med muffeende og en rørdel med spissende som er forbundet ved hjelp av et varmeherdnende lim.
For å forbinde fiberarmerte, nærmere bestemt glassfiber-armerte, plastrør benyttes der spesielt limte rørskjøter,
idet et lim anordnes mellom innerflaten av muffeenden og ytterflaten av spissenden for å gi en god, tettende forbindelse. En ulempe er at det anvendte lim herdner langsomt ved vanlige temperaturer, slik at en meget lang tid er nødvendig før den limte rørforbindelse kan utsettes for virkningen av de væsker som skal føres gjennom rørene.
En annen ulempe er at kvaliteten av limskjøten mellom rørdeler som er forbundet på denne måte ved anvendelse av normale omgivelsestemperaturer, ofte ikke er tilstrekkelig høy, slik at lekkasjer kan oppstå med tiden. Når rørdeler av denne art anvendes spesielt til å føre væsker med høyere temperatur, f.eks. væsker som anvendes til oppvarmningsformål, utgjør dette en stor ulempe. Den eneste mulighet for å unngå disse ulemper er å tilføre varme utenfra til det sted hvor det varmeherdnende lim befinner seg.
Når der anvendes rørdeler som har et varmeisolerende skikt helt ut til enden, må nødvendigvis noe av det varmeisolerende skikt på yttersiden av muffeenden fjernes for å tillate innsetting av et varmeelement rundt- muffeenden for å varme opp det varmeherdnende lim. Alternativt må muffeenden fremstilles uten varmeisolasjonsskikt ved fremstil-lingen. Bortsett fra de medfølgende kostnader er dette en stor ulempe, idet mellomrommet mellom isolasjonsskiktene på henholdsvis muffeenden og spissenden må fylles ved oppskum-ming av en skumbar plastkomposisjon etter at limskjøten er fremstilt. Dette medfører arbeidskrevende og omstendelige operasjoner. Dessuten må et varmeelement stadig settes inn og deretter på ny fjernes. Det er en hensikt med den fore liggende oppfinnelse å skaffe en limt rørskjøt av den oven-nevnte type som ikke oppviser disse ulemper, og hvor bare små volumer må fylles med skum etter at den limte rørskjøt er dannet. Disse volumer er til og med så små at fyllingen med skum kan sløyfes, hvis en plasthylse anbringes på yttersiden av en kappe rundt det varmeisolerende skikt på stedet for den limte rørskjøt.
For oppnåelse av dette bærer ifølge oppfinnelsen rørdelen med muffeende et varmeisolerende skikt i det minste på det parti som mottar spissenden, samtidig som et varmeelement også er anordnet på det nevnte parti.
Den store fordelen med disse forholdsregler er at den nødvendige varme kan tilføres det varmeherdnende lim etter at limet er påført og spissenden er satt inn ved hjelp av varmeelementet, uten noen uheldig innvirkning på det varmeisolerende skikt.
Varmeelementet består fordelaktig av et motstandsfolieelement. Motstandsfolieelementer av denne art har den store fordel at de er bøyelige, enkle i utførelse og også meget billige.
Varmeelementet er fortrinnsvis forbundet med muffeenden ved hjelp av lim, slik at varmeelementet ikke lett kan trekkes ut av den isolerte rørdel med muffeende under transport.
Rørdeler med spissender og muffeender for utførelse av forbindelsen fremstilles fortrinnsvis av fiberarmert varmeherdnende plast, f.eks. polyesterharpiks eller epoksyharpiks.
For å tillate lett oppvarmning av varmeelementet er
dette forbundet med tilkoblingsledninger som rager ut fra det varmeisolerende skikt. Varmeelementet kan på denne måte opp-varmes ved hjelp av en elektrisk kilde, og det varmeherdnende lim kan raskt herdes, slik at der raskt og enkelt fås en meget god limskjøt.
Eksempler på rørdeler med muffeender kan være plasthylser, bend, T-stykker, overgangsstykker o.l.
Oppfinnelsen angår også en rørdel med muffeende som er egnet for en limt rørskjøt, under anvendelse av varmeherdnende lim,karakterisert vedat rørdelen bærer et varmeisolerende skikt i det minste på det parti som mottar spissenden, og at også et varmeelement, fortrinnsvis et motstandsfolieelement, er anordnet på det nevnte parti.
Varmeelementet er fortrinnsvis forbundet med yttersiden av muffeenden ved hjelp av lim, og tilkoblingsledninger som er forbundet med varmeelementet, rager fortrinnsvis ut gjennom det varmeisolerende skikt.
Oppfinnelsen vil nå bli nærmere beskrevet under henvis-ning til et på tegningen vist utførelseseksempel. Fig. 1 er et lengdesnitt gjennom en rørskjøt i henhold til oppfinnelsen.
Fig. 2 er et snitt etter linjen II-II.på fig. 1.
Fig. 3 er et T-rørstykke med muffeender i henhold til oppfinnelsen.
På fig. 1 er der vist en rørdel 1 med spissende av glassfiberarmert termoherdnende harpiks, f.eks. epoksyharpiks eller polyesterharpiks. Rørdelen 1 har et varmeisolerende skikt 2 av organisk skummateriale i form av et polyuretanskum.
For unngåelse av skade på det varmeisolerende skumskikt
2 har yttersiden av skumskiktet en rørkappe 3 av polyeten.
Fig. 1 viser videre en rørdel 4 (f.eks. et bend) som også består av glassfiberarmert, termoherdnende harpiks, f.eks. polyesterharpiks eller epoksyharpiks, og har et mottagende muffeendeparti 5. Et skikt 7 av termoherdnende lim er anordnet mellom innerveggen av muffepartiet 5 og yttersiden av rør-delen 1. Dette limskikt er herdet ved oppvarming.
Til dette formål er en motstandsfolie 8 festet ved hjelp av et lim direkte på yttersiden av det mottagende parti 5 på rørdelen 4.
En egnet motstandsfolie er en som markedsføres av Kanthal.
For oppnåelse av en god varmeisolasjon er et varmeisolerende skikt 2 også anordnet på yttersiden av rørdelen 4. Dette skikt 2 strekker.seg hovedsakelig til den frie ende 9 av rørdelen 4 med muffeende.
Det varmeisolerende skumplastskikt på rørdelen 1 med spissende ender på en viss avstand fra endeflaten 10 av spiss enden. I den ferdige limte skjøt grenser imidlertid endeflaten 11 av det isolerende skumplastskikt 2 på rørdelen 4 med muffeende praktisk talt til endeflaten 2 av skumplastskiktet 2 på rørdelen 1 med spissende.
Yttersiden av det isolerende skikt 2 på rørdelen 4 er også forsynt med en rørformet kappe 3 av polyeten.
Motstandsfolieelementet 8 er forbundet med tilkoblings-' ledninger 13 og 14 som kan forbindes med en elektrisk strøm-kilde for å frembringe varme i motstandsfolieelementet.
Etter at den ferdige limte forbindelse er fremstilt, blir rommet 16 mellom endene 11 og 12 av de varmeisolerende skikt 2 på henholdsvis rørdelen 4 og rørdelene 1 fyllt med skum.
Selv om fyllingen av dette rom 16 med skum kan sløyfes, anbefales det å fylle rommet med et skumplastmateriale for oppnåelse av bøyningsstivhet. Hvis disse rom ikke fylles med skum, kan de danne knekksteder i den ferdige rørledning, noe som kan være en ulempe.
I alle tilfelle blir en dekkhylse 15 av polyeten varme-krympet på yttersiden for å skaffe god tetning av rommet 16.
Endene av tilkoblingsledningene 13 og 14 rommes også i dette rom.
Fig. 3 viser en rørdel med muffeender i form av et T-stykke 17 med et varmeisolerende skikt 2 på yttersiden. Skiktet 2 består av polyuretanskum, og det samme gjelder det varmeisolerende skikt 2 på rørdelen 1 med spissende.
T-stykket 17 har et mottagende parti eller muffeparti 5 som på sin ytterside bærer et motstandsfolieelement 8 som i sin tur er dekket av det varmeisolerende skikt 2.
Det varmeisolerende skikt 2 er også omgitt av en rør-kappe 3 av polyeten.

Claims (11)

1. Limt rørskjøt omfattende en rørdel med muffeende ^og en rørdel med spissende som er forbundet ved hjelp av et varmeherdnende lim, karakterisert ved at rør-delen (4) med muffeende bærer et varmeisolerende skikt (2) i det minste på det parti (5) som mottar spissenden, og at også et varmeelement (8) er anordnet på det nevnte parti (5).
2. Rørskjøt som angitt i krav 1, karakterisert ved at varmeelementet (8) er et motstandsfolieelement.
3. Rørskjøt som angitt i krav 1 eller 2, karakterisert ved at varmeelementet (8) er forbundet med muffeenden (5) ved hjelp av lim.c
4. Rørskjøt som angitt i et av de foregående krav, karakterisert ved at tilkoblingéledninger (13, 14) som er forbundet med varmeelementet (8), rager ut fra det varmeisolerende skikt (2).
5. Rørskjøt som angitt i et av de foregående krav, karakterisert ved at rø rdelene (1, 4) består av fiberarmert herdeplast.
6'. Rørskjøt som angitt i et. av de foregående krav, karakterisert ved at yttersiden av det varmeisolerende skikt er omgitt av en beskyttende rørkappe (3).
7. Rørskjøt som angitt.i et av de foregående krav, karakterisert ved at endene av de beskyttende rørkapper (3) for rørdelene (1, 4) står i tettende inn-grep med en dekkhylse (15).
8. Rø rdel med muffeende som er egnet for en limt rørskjøt, hvor muffeenden er forbundet med en spissende på en annen rørdel ved hjelp av et varmeherdnende lim, karakterisert ved at rø rdelen (4) med muffeende bærer et varmeisolerende skikt (2) i det minste på det parti (5) som mottar spissenden, og at også et varmeelement (8) er anordnet på det nevnte parti (5).
9. Rørdel som angitt i krav 8, karakterisert ved at varmeelementet (8) er et motstandsfolieelement som fortrinnsvis er forbundet med muffeenden (5) ved hjelp av lim.
10. Rørdel som angitt i krav 8 eller 9, karakterisert ved at varmeelementet (8) er forbundet med tilkoblingsledninger (13, 14) som rager ut gjennom det varmeisolerende skikt.
11. Rørdel som angitt i et av kravene 8-10, karakterisert ved at den består av fiberarmert herdeplast, og at det varmeisolerende skikt (2) på muffeenden består av skumplast som på yttersiden er dekket av en beskyttende kappe (3).
