Abstract

En dybdekompensert passiv undervannskompensator mot sjøgang omfatter en første sylinder som ved sin øvre ende er koblet til et fartøy. Et stempelstang strekker seg fra et stempel som befinner seg inne i den første sylinderen gjennom den nedre enden av denne, og er koblet til undervannsutstyr. En andre sylinder inneholder en komprimert gass som opprettholder trykk under stempelet i den første sylinderen. Den øvre enden av den første sylinderen er koblet til den øvre enden av en tredje sylinder i hvilken det er anordnet et stempel. Et stempelstang som strekker seg fra stempelet i den tredje sylinderen rager gjennom den nedre enden av denne, og overfører med det sjøtrykket til stempelet i den tredje sylinderen.
