Abstract

Det er tilveiebrakt en flytende innretning for overhaling av hydrokarbonbrønner til sjøs ved. bruk av kveilrør, hvor den flytende innretningen omfatter et boredekk og et arbeidsdekk som er anordnet i en åpning i boredekket. Den flytende innretningen omfatter et første sett med hivkompenseringsinnretninger som er innrettet for tilkobling til en teleskopforbindelse som er forbundet til et stigerør slik at et tilnærmet konstant strekk i stigerøret kan opprettholdes når den flytende innretningen beveger seg i sjøen. Videre omfatter den flytende innretningen et andre sett med hivkompenseringsinnretninger som er innrettet for tilkobling til arbeidsdekket slik at arbeidsdekket har en tilnærmet konstant avstand til sjøbunnen når arbeidsdekket kan bevege seg i forhold til boredekket, og den flytende innretningen beveger seg i sjøen. Oppfinnelsen omfatter også en fremgangsmåte for overhaling av hydrokarbonbrønner til sjøs fra en flytende innretning ved bruk av en kveilrørsramme.
