Description
APPARAT OG FREMGANGSMÅTE FOR Å SAMMENKOPLE RØR VED Å ANVENDE ET TOPPDREVET ROTASJONSSYSTEM
Denne oppfinnelse vedrører et apparat som skal gjøre det let-tere å kople sammen rør ved bruk av et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem, og er nærmere bestemt, men ikke utelukkende, ment å lette tilkopling av en seksjon eller lengde av foringsrør til en streng av foringsrør.
Ved utforming av olje- eller gassbrønner er det vanligvis nødvendig å fore borehullet med en rørstreng kjent som foringsrør. På grunn av lengden på det nødvendige foringsrør blir seksjoner eller lengder på for eksempel to seksjoner av foringsrør progressivt tilføyd strengen etter hvert som denne blir ført ned i brønnen fra en boreplattform. Særlig når det er ønskelig å føye til en fdringsrørseksjon eller -lengde, blir strengen, for at den ikke skal falle ned i brønnen, vanligvis holdt ved anvendelse av kilene i en edderkopp plassert i gulvet på boreplattformen. Den nye foringsrørseksjon eller
-lengde blir deretter flyttet fra et stativ til brønnens sen-ter ovenfor edderkoppen. Hanngjengepartiet på den fdringsrør-seks jon eller -lengde som skal tilkoples, er da plassert over
hunngjengepartiet på foringsrøret i brønnen, og forbindelsen trekkes til ved rotasjon dem imellom. En rørklave blir deretter koplet til toppen av den nye seksjon eller lengde, og hele foringsrørstrengen løftes litt for å tillate frigjøring av edderkoppens kiler. Hele foringsrørstrengen senkes deretter til toppen av seksjonen er i nærheten av edderkoppen, hvoretter edderkoppens kiler igjen påføres, rørklaven koples fra og prosessen gjentas.
Det er vanlig praksis å bruke en krafttang for å trekke til koplingen til et forhåndsbestemt moment for å opprette forbindelsen. Krafttangen er plassert på en plattform, enten på skinner eller opphengt i en kjetting fra et tårn. Det er imidlertid nylig blitt foreslått å bruke et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem for å opprette en slik sammenkopling. Den vanlige bruk av et slikt toppdrevet rotasjonssystem kan være å drive en borestreng.
Et problem knyttet til bruk av et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem for å rotere rør for å oppnå en sammenkopling mellom rør, er at noen toppdrevne rotasjonssystemer som ikke akkurat er ut-formet for å rotere rør, ikke er i stand til å rotere med korrekt hastighet eller har rotorer som ikke er standard.
Ifølge den herværende oppfinnelse er det tilveiebrakt et apparat som skal lette sammenkoplingen av rør ved bruk av toppdrevet rotasjonssystem, hvilket apparat omfatter en motor som skal rotere et verktøy for på drivende måte å gå i inngrep med et rør, og middel for tilkopling av nevnte motor til nevnte toppdrevne rotasjonssystem, idet apparatet er slik at i bruk kan nevnte motor rotere ett rør med hensyn til et annet for å kople sammen nevnte rør.
Andre trekk ved oppfinnelsen er fremsatt i patentkrav 2 og påfølgende krav.
For bedre forståelse av den herværende oppfinnelse og for å vise hvordan samme kan gjennomføres, vil det nå som eksempel bli vist til de medfølgende tegninger, hvor: Fig. 1 viser et perspektivisk frontriss av et apparat i over-ensstemmelse med den herværende oppfinnelse; og Fig. 2 viser et perspektivisk oppriss av apparatet på fig. 1 i bruk, sett bakfra.
Det vises til fig. 1 hvor det er vist et apparat som er angitt generelt med henvisningstallet 1.
Apparatet 1 omfatter et tilkoplingsrør 2, en opphengingssen-het 3 og en hydraulisk motor 4 og 4'. Den hydrauliske motor 4, 4' har en stator 5 og en rotor 6 og blir drevet av en til-førsel av trykksatt hydraulikkvæske (fluidtilførselslednin-gene er ikke vist på figurene). Opphengingsenheten 3 henger den hydrauliske motor 4, 4• opp i tilkoplingsrøret 2.
Opphengingsenheten 3 omfatter en plate 7 som er fast forbun-det med tilkoplingsrøret 2 via en krage 8. Platen 7 har to utspring 9 og 10 som har huller 11 og 12 for å oppta aksler 13 og 14 som er anbrakt roterbart i dem. Akslene 13 og 14 er i ett med et stivt legeme 15. En glider 16 er anordnet på glideskinner 17 og (ikke vist) på det stive legeme 15. Armer 18 og 19 er i den ene ende koplet til glideren 16 via sfæriske lagre 20 og i den andre ende til hver side av statoren 5 via sfæriske lagre 21 og 21'. Armene 18 og 19 ér forsynt med ører 22 og 22' som den ene ende av en stempelsylinder 23, 24 er festet til og kan bevege seg rundt. Den andre ende av hver stempelsylinder 23, 24 er festet til ører 25 henholdsvis 26 og er bevegelige om disse. Et slamrør 27 er anbrakt mellom platen 7 og statoren 5 for å føre slam til det indre av et rør beliggende nedenfor. Slamrøret 27 omfatter krummede ytre flater i begge ender (ikke vist) som er plassert i motsvaren-de utsparinger i sylindriske avsnitt 28, 29, hvorved en slags kuleleddbevegelse mellom platen 7 og statoren 5 tillates.
Det vises til fig. 2 hvor apparatet 1 er opphengt i et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem (ikke vist) via tilkoplingsrøret 2. Et verktøy 30 som skal gå i inngrep med et rør er opphengt på undersiden av den hydrauliske motors 4 rotor 6. Et slikt verktøy kan være innrettet til å føres inn i den øvre ende av røret, idet gripeelementer i verktøyet er radialt forskyvbare for å gå i inngrep med rørets innervegg for derved å feste røret til verktøyet.
I bruk er et rør (ikke vist) som skal koples til en rør-streng, som holdes i en edderkopp (ikke vist), plassert over verktøyet 30. Verktøyet 30 griper røret. Apparatet 1 og røret senkes gjennom bevegelse av .det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem, slik at røret er i umiddelbar nærhet av rørstrengen som holdes i edderkoppen. På grunn av blant annet produksjonstole-ranser for rørene, innretter imidlertid røret seg ofte ikke perfekt til røret som holdes i edderkoppen. Opphengingsenheten 3 gjør det mulig å foreta mindre vertikale og horisontale bevegelser ved bruk av innrettingsstempler 31 og 32 for horisontale bevegelser og stempelsylindere 23 og 24 for vertikale bevegelser. Innrettingsstemplene 31 virker mellom det stive
legeme 15 og platen 7. Innrettingsstemplene 32 virker mellom glideren 16 og armen 19. Innrettingsstemplene 31 og 32 og
stempelsylindrene 23, 25 aktiveres med hydraulisk eller pneumatisk middel og styres fra en fjernstyringsinnretning.
Stempelsylindrene 23, 24 kan drives hydraulisk. Det er imidlertid tenkelig at stempelsylindrene 23, 24 kan være av den pneumatiske kompenserende type, dvs. deres innvendige trykk kan reguleres for å kompensere for vekten av røret, slik at bevegelse av røret kan utføres med minimal kraft. Dette kan hensiktsmessig oppnås ved innføring av pneumatisk fluid i stempelsylinderen 23, 24 og regulering av trykket i denne.
Så snart rørene er rettet inn på linje, roterer den hydrauliske motor 4 og 4' røret via utveksling i statoren 5, hvorved den løse forbindelse trekkes til. Under sammenkopling ekspanderer den kompenserende stempelsylinder 23, 24 for å gi rom for bevegelsen av det øvre rør. Innrettingsstemplene 31 og 32 kan da benyttes til å bevege toppen av røret inn på linje med det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem. Om nødvendig kan endelig tiltrekking utføres av det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem på dette stadium gjennom rotering av røret 27, og hoved-rørklaven kan også bli svingt inn på og koples til røret før frigjøring av kilene i edderkoppen og senking av forings-rørstrengen. Det skal forstås at opphengingsenheten 3 effek-tivt tilveiebringer et overgangsstykke for tilkopling av et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem til det rørgripende verktøy 30.
Claims (12)
1. Apparat som skal lette sammenkopling av rør ved bruk av et toppdrevet rotas jonssystem, karakterisert ved at apparatet omfatter en motor (4, 4') som skal rotere et verktøy (30) for drivende å gå i inngrep med et rør for å rotere ett rør med hensyn til et annet for å kople sammen nevnte rør, og en opphengingsenhet (3) for å kople nevnte motor (4, 4<1>) til nevnte toppdrevne rotas j onssystem.
2. Apparat som angitt i krav 1, karakterisert ved at nevnte motor (4, 4') kan drives hydraulisk.
3. Apparat som angitt i krav 1 eller 2, karakterisert ved at nevnte opphengingsenhet (3) i bruk kan bevege nevnte motor (4, 4') i forhold til nevnte toppdrevne rotasjonssystems akse for å lette innbyrdes innretting av nevnte rør.
4. Apparat som angitt i krav 3, karakterisert ved at nevnte opphengingsenhet (3) er forsynt med i det minste én stempelsylinder (23, 24) for å heve og senke nevnte motor (4, 4<1>).
5. Apparat som angitt i krav 4, karakterisert ved at nevnte i det minste ene stempelsylinder (23, 24) kan aktiveres pneumatisk for å kompensere for vekten av nevnte rør.
6. Apparat som angitt i krav 3, 4 eller 5, karakterisert ved at nevnte opphengingsenhet (3) omfatter sfæriske lagre {20, 21) for å tillate bevegelse av nevnte motor (4, 4') i to plan.
7. Apparat som angitt i hvilket som helst av kravene 3 til 6, karakterisert ved at nevnte opphengingsenhet (3) omfatter regulerbare stempelsylindere (31, 32) for posisjonering av nevnte motor (4, 4').
8. Apparat som angitt i hvilket som helst foregående krav, karakterisert ved at det omfatter et slamrør (27) som skal levere slam til nevnte rør.
9. Apparat som angitt i krav 8, karakterisert ved at nevnte slamrør (27) er forsynt med et kuleledd (28, 29) i begge ender.
10. Apparat som angitt i hvilket som helst foregående krav, karakterisert ved at det bæres av et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem.
11. Fremgangsmåte for å kople første og andre rør sammen for bruk til foring av et borehull, karakterisert ved at fremgangsmåten omfatter: tilkopling av nevnte første rør til et toppdrevet rotasjonssystem ved bruk av en opphengingsenhet (3), hvorved røret går i inngrep med en rotor (6) på en motor (4, 41) båret av opphengingsenheten (3); å bringe en nedre ende av nevnte første rør i inngrep med en øvre ende av nevnte andre rør; rotering av nevnte første rør ved bruk av motoren (4, 4') for derved å skru rørene sammen; og tiltrekking av forbindelsen mellom rørene ved å rotere det første rør ved bruk av det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem.
12. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 11, karakterisert ved at fremgangsmåten omfatter regulering av opphengingsenheten (3) før tiltrekking av forbindelsen ved bruk av det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem for derved å bringe det første rør på linje med det toppdrevne rotasjonssystem.
