Description
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en anvendelse som angitt i kravene 1 - 6 av et smøremiddel for basuner e.l. musikkinstrumenter.
For å oppnå en feilfri glidebevegelse av basuntrekk, må disse smøres. Til dette formål har man hittil anvendt fettpreparater, f.eks. på vaselinbasis. Disse smøremidler har imidlertid en rekke ulemper. Således er det stor fare for at det på trekket danner seg fettopphopninger som hindrer et feilfritt løp av trekket. Ut over dette opp-rettholdes smøreevnen bare over et relativt kort tidsrom slik at den dannede smørefilm må fornyes ofte. Endelig er det fare for at en slik smørefilm rask blir hård når basunen ikke brukes, slik at det må foretas kostbart rensearbeide efter relativt kort tid.
Oppfinnelsens oppgave består i å tilveiebringe et smøremiddel av den ovenfor nevnte art som i påført tilstand har en spesielt lang smøreevne og ikke hoper seg opp.
Denne oppgave løses ifølge oppfinnelsen ved hjelp av et smøremiddel som omfatter to, eventuelt tre komponenter som skal påføres på det respektive trekk efter hverandre i den angitte rekkefølge, nemlig (a) silikonolje; (b) vandig såpeoppløsning, og eventuelt (c) vann.
Tokomponentsystemet ifølge oppfinnelsen fører på den dannede oljefilm, når det påføres i den angitte rekkefølge, dvs. først silikonoljen og derefter den vandige såpeoppløsning, til en fast smørefilm hvis glidevirkning opprettholdes spesielt lenge og således er overlegen overfor den innledningsvis nevnte teknik-kens stand. Ut over dette vil middelet ifølge oppfinnelsen i påført tilstand ikke medføre lokale opphopninger som kan føre til en eventuell oppbremsing av det respektive trekk. Middelet ifølge oppfinnelsen herder heller ikke så rask som tilsvarende preparater på fettbasis.
Middelet ifølge oppfinnelsen påføres spesielt på følgende måte: Før påføringen av middelet renses det indre av det respektive basuntrekk for gammelt fett, og det ytre trekk renses likeledes omhyggelig. Derefter påføres silikonoljen på den indre trekk-kloss. Silikonoljen fordeles jevnt, f.eks. ved å trekke på det ytre trekk og skyve det grundig frem og tilbake.
Derefter påføres den vandige såpeoppløsning på silikonoljefilmen, helst slik at den helles på den øvre ende av trekket og renner derfra ned på silikonoljefilmen. Det følger en grundig fordeling av såpeopp-løsningen, f.eks. likeledes ved trekkbevegelser.
Spesielt gode resultater oppnås når silikonoljen og såpeoppløsningen påføres i et forhold på 1 : 10-20. Således påføres f.eks. en dråpe silikonolje på basis av det indre trekk og fordeles der jevnt, hvorpå en mengde av den vandige såpeoppløsning som tilsvarer 10 - 20 dråper, føres på silikonoljefilmen og fordeles på denne like jevnt.
Ved siden av de nevnte fordeler som oppnås ved hjelp av smøremiddelet ifølge oppfinnelsen, som f.eks. spesielt langvarig smøreevne, intet raskt tap av smøremiddelet, ingen opphopning og dermed bremsing av trekket, har middelet ifølge oppfinnelsen dessuten en spesielt god korrosjonshemmende virkning.
Det anvendes fortrinnsvis en silikonolje som har en viskositet på 3 - 20 mm<2> s"<1> (cSt) ved 25°C. Ved den anvendte silikonolje med spesielt gode resultater, dreier det seg om et lineærpolymert dimetylsiloksan. En slik silikonolje er i handelen under betegnelsen Baysilone-olje M og produseres av firma Bayer AG, Levérkusen.
Den vandige såpeoppløsning inneholder hensiktsmessig oppløste finsåper. Disse såper utmerker seg ved et høyt innhold av helt rene fett (presstalg, olivenolje o.l.). For anvendelsen ifølge oppfinnelsen er de bedre egnet enn faste såper (kjernesåper) som har et mindre fettinnhold. Valget av den anvendte finsåpe er ikke kritisk; det kan anvendes kommersielle såper.
Med hensyn til konsentrasjonen av de vandige såpeopp-løsningene har det vist seg at man kan oppnå spesielt gode resultater med en konsentrasjon på 125 g såpe pr. 6-7 liter vann.
Ved en videre utvikling av oppfinnelsen inneholder smøremiddelet som tredje komponent vann som påføres som spray på trekket efter den første og andre komponent . Det påførte vann virker herved som glidefor-sterker. Den tilsvarende vannmengde som skal påføres, må bestemmes individuelt, avhengig av de respektive forhold. Ved behov kan den tilsvarende sprayprosess gjentas.
Det er klart at hvert basuntrekk forholder seg for-skjellig, alt efter konstruksjon og bruk. Forsåvidt må den optimale dosering av smøremiddelet ifølge oppfinnelsen (samt dose-ringen av enkeltkomponentene) bestemmes individuelt efter det respektive trekk. De ovenfor angitte forholdsverdier kan således bare gi en ytre ramme for anvendelsen av middelet ifølge oppfin-
nelsen.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende forklares nærmere ved hjelp av et utførelseseksempel.
Først ble det indre trekk av en basun behandlet med et konvensjonelt vaselin-preparat. Før påføring av preparatet ble det indre trekk renset for gammelt fett ved hjelp av et papirlommetørkle og lighterbensin. Det ytre trekk ble renset omhyggelig med en rengjørings-stang som var omviklet med bandasjetøy.
På klossen av det indre trekk ble det derefter påført en så stor mengde vaselin at det indre trekk ble dekket med en jevn vaselinfilm efter at det ytre trekk var trukket på og har vært skjøvet grundig frem og tilbake.
Basuner som er smurt på denne måte, ble derefter utsatt for bruk i to timer. Derefter ble det foretatt en vurdering. Det ble slått fast at vaselinen var nærmest fullstendig oppbrukt, dvs. at det ikke lengre fantes noen jevn glide-film. Ut over dette hadde fett hopet seg opp slik at trekket ble "hengende".
Den samme basun ble derefter underkastet en rensepro-sess, idet det tilsvarende indre trekk ble renset for fett på den ovenfor beskrevne måte, og derefter ble det tilhørende ytre trekk renset slik som beskrevet foran. Derefter ble det påført en dråpe silikonolje (dimetylsiloksam ed en viskositet på 10 mm<2> s"<1> (cSt)
(ved 25°C) (Baysilone-olje M 10) på klossen av det indre trekk. Det ytre trekk ble trukket grundig frem og tilbake.
Derefter ble 10 dråper av en vandig såpeoppløsning (125 g konvensjonell finsåpe pr. 6 1 vann) påført på det indre trekk slik at den rant ovenifra ned langs det indre trekk ca. 10 cm på den påførte silikonolje-film. Derefter ble såpe-oppløsningen fordelt grundig ved hjelp av trekkbevegelser.
Til slutt ble vann fra en sprayflaske sprayet på for å oppnå en glideforsterkende effekt.
Ved bedømmelsen ble det fastslått at glidef ilmen efter 2 timers bruk av basunen fremdeles var i god stand. Det hadde ikke dannet seg opphopninger. Basunen kunne brukes i ytterligere 2 timer uten at glidebevegelsene ble hemmet.
Smørefilmens varighet var her ca. 4 timer, dvs. omtrent dobbelt så lang som for filmen av konvensjonell vaselin-preparat.
Claims (6)
1. Anvendelse av et smøremiddel som består av to, eventuelt tre komponenter (a) silikonolje og (b) vandig såpeoppløsning og eventuelt (c) vann
som påføres i den angitte rekkefølge på de respektive trekk hos basuner eller lignende musikkinstrumenter.
2. Anvendelse som angitt i krav 1, idet silikonoljen og såpeoppløsningen påføres i et forhold på 1 : 10 - 20 .
3. Anvendelse som angitt i krav 1 eller 2, idet silikonoljen er et lineærpolymerisert dimetylsiloksan.
4 . Anvendelse som angitt i et av de foregående krav, idet silikonoljen har en viskositet på 3-20 mm<2> s"<1> ved 25°C.
5. Anvendelse som angitt i et av de foregående krav, idet den vandige såpeoppløsning inneholder oppløst finsåpe.
6 . Anvendelse som angitt i et av de foregående krav, idet den vandige såpeoppløsning har en konsentrasjon på 125 g såpe pr. 6 - 7 liter vann.
