Abstract
Et system og fremgangsmåte for ozonbehandlingen av avløpsvann er beskrevet. Det beskrevne avløpsvannsbehandlingssystemet (10) inkluderer en høyt selektiv reaktor (30) koblet til en aktivert slambehandlingstank (20). Den høyt selektive reaktoren (30) er tilpasset for å motta en strøm inneholdende slam adskilt direkte eller indirekte fra den aktiverte slambehandlingstanken. Det beskrevne avløpsvannsbehandlingssystemet og fermgangsmåte er tilpasset for å injisere et kjemisk virkemiddel, slik som ozon-beriket gass, inn i den adskilte strømmen for behandling innen den høyt selektive reaktoren for formål av slamreduksjon, skumkontroll eller svellingskontroll.
