Abstract

En flammehemmende og lysdiffunderende polykarbonatharpiksblanding omfattende 100 vektdeler av en polykarbonatharpiks (A), 0,1 til 8 vektdeler av et lysdiffunderende middel (B) og 0,01 til 1,5 vektdeler av en silikonforbindelse (C), hvori hovedkjeden av silikonforbindelsen (C) er forgrenet og silikonforbindelsen (C) inneholder organiske funksjonelle grupper og nærværet av aromatiske grupper er essensielt som de organiske funksjonelle grupper men nærværet av andre hydrokarbongrupper enn aromatiske grupper er eventuell som de andre organiske funksjonelle grupper enn terminale grupper, samt en lysdiffunderende plate formstøpt derav. Den lysdiffunderende plate oppnådd ved formstøping av en polykarbonatharpiksblanding ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelse med flammehemmende og lysdiffunderende egenskaper har utmerket flammehemming uten i skadelig grad å påvirke de lysdiffunderende egenskaper og luminansen av den lysdiffunderende polykarbonatharpiks og er ideell for bruk ved alle anvendelser som krever en høy grad av optisk ytelse.
