Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen er rettet mot fremstillingen og anvendelsen av en samling av antistoff tungkjede komplementaritetsbestemmende område 3 (HCDR3)-medlemmer, hvor diversitet av samlingen er en funksjon av lengden av HCDR3 medlemmene. Diversiteten av samlingen av HCDR3-områder representerer vesentlig den naturlige aminosyredistribusjonen av HCDR3 i det humane repertoaret. Denne naturlige aminosyredistribusjonen kan bli representert ved å påvirke den fullstendige tilfeldige distribusjonen av aminosyrer, følgelig, i den HCDR3-kodende DNA sekvensen ved å anvende trinukleotide mutagenese (TRIM) teknologi.
