Abstract
En fremgangsmåte av og et arrangement for rensing av avgassene til en innvendig forbrenningsmotor (9) anvendt i kraftproduksjonen på et vanngående fartøy, spesielt et stort passasjerskip, i en avgasscrubber (21) hovedsaklig med vann. Ifølge oppfinnelsen produseres vann fra sjøvann på en måte i og for seg kjent ved å benytte fremgangsmåten av revers osmose, hvoretter sjøvannet med oppkonsentrert saltinnhold produsert ved revers osmose prosessen tilføres avgasscrubberen (21) for vasking av avgassene fra den innvendige forbrenningsmotoren (9).
