Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en fremgangsmåte for å elektrolysere saltsmelte som kan forhøye konsentrasjonen av metalldannende metalltåke i saltsmelten ved å utføre elektrolysen under betingelser ved at saltsmelten inneholdende klorid av metalldannende metalltåke blir tilført fra én ende av en elektrolysecellen til et mellomrom mellom en anode og en katode på en kontinuerlig eller intermitterende måte for å tilveiebringe en strømningshastighet i én retning til saltsmelten i nærheten av overflaten av katoden og således for å tillate saltsmelten å strømme i én retning i nærheten av overflaten av katoden. I henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse, mens høyt strømutbytte opprettholdes, kan bare saltsmelten anriket med metalldannende metalltåke slik som Ca tas ut effektivt. Videre kan denne fremgangsmåte lett utføres ved anvendelse av elektrolysecellen i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse. Videre kan anvendelse av fremgangsmåten for å elektrolysere saltsmelte i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse til fremstilling av Ti ved reduksjon av Ca realisere fremstillingen av metallisk Ti med høy effektivitet. Således, fremgangsmåten for å elektrolysere saltsmelte, elektrolysecellen, og fremgangsmåten for å produsere Ti, hver i henhold til foreliggende oppfinnelse, kan effektivt bli anvendt i fremstillingen av Ti ved reduksjon av Ca.
