Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av et aggregat hvorved kloakkslam fra et avløpsvannbehandlingsanlegg blandes med et ikke-kullforbrenningsaske-silikoaluminiumoksidholdig avfallsmateriale, blandingen agglomereres til dannelse av et agglomerat og agglomeratet pyrobehandles til dannelse av et aggregat. Avfallsmaterialet kan omfatte forbrenningsovnbunnaske fra kommunalt fastavfall, forbrenningsovnfiygeaske, forbrenningsovnfilterstøv, sementovnstøv, avfallsglass, masovnslagg, ovnstøv og/eller granittsagerester. Fremgangsmåten kan videre omfatte oppmaling av avfallsmaterialet før blanding. Oppmalingen er fortrinnsvis våtoppmaling. Pyrobehandlingen av agglomeratet kan foregå i en roterende ovn. Det resulterende aggregat kan være et aggregat av lettvekt eller normalvekt, sintret eller vitrifisert. Aggregater og fremgangsmåter til fremstilling av aggregater av høy- og lavkalsium-silikoaluminiumoksidholdige materialer er også beskrevet.
