Abstract
Trinnstørrelsesberegner for å styre trinnstørrelsen til en adaptiv utligner innarbeidet i en transceiver (dvs. en trådløs sender-/mottaksenhet (WTRU)). Trinnstørrelsesberegneren oppdaterer minst en adaptiv utlignertapp brukt av den adaptive utligneren basert på en tilsynelatende hastighet av en kanal opprettet mellom transceiveren og en annen transceiver. Trinnstørrelsesberegneren inkluderer en hastighetsberegner, en signal/støyforhold(SNR)-midler og en trinnstørrelseskartleggingsenhet.
