Abstract
Fremgangsmåte og apparat implementerer pasientdatanedlasting for flere ulike målertyper, slik som flere ulike blodglukosemålere. Mange serieporter er tilveiebrakt, hver ordnet for kopling til en respektiv måler av de flere ulike målertypene. Informasjon vises og brukerutvelgelser identifiseres. Som reaksjon på brukerinngang som identifiserer en spesiell målertype, er det vist en koplingsport/kabelnummer for målerkopling for observasjon av brukeren. Forhåndsdefinerte instruksjoner for den spesielle målertypen er vist. Et datainnsamlingscomputersystem er tilveiebrakt som en integrert enhet som inkluderer en enhetshus inneholdende en prosessoranordning, en skriver og en berøringsskjerm. Når en målerkopling er identifisert, viser informasjon, pasientdata nedlastes fra måleren og skrives ut i et utvalgt format sammen med utvalgte rapporter generert fra de nedlastede pasientdataene. 1
