Abstract
MéTODO E APARELHO PARA IMPLEMENTAR TRANSFERêNCIA DE DADOS DE PACIENTE PARA MúLTIPLOS TIPOS DE MEDIDORES DIFERENTES Um método e aparelho implementam transferência de dados de paciente para múltiplos tipos de medidores diferentes, tais como múltiplos medidores de glicose no sangue diferentes. Uma pluralidade de portas seriais é fornecida, cada uma arranjada para conexão a um respectivo medidor dos múltiplos tipos de medidores diferentes. Informação é exibida e seleções de usuário são identificadas. Responsivo à entrada de usuário identificando um tipo particular de medidor, um número de porta/cabo de conexão para a conexão de medidor é exibido para ser visto pelo usuário. Instruções predefinidas para o tipo particular de medidor são exibidas. Um sistema de computador de coleta de dados é fornecido como uma unidade integral incluindo um alojamento unitário contendo um dispositivo processador, uma impressora e uma tela de toque de exibição. Quando uma conexão de medidor é identificada, a informação é exibida, os dados de paciente são transferidos do medidor e são impressos em um formato selecionado juntamente com os relatórios selecionados gerados a partir dos dados de paciente transferidos.
