Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for selektiv binding av minst én sorbent av et substrat som har minst to forskjellige grupper som er i stand til binding. Fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen erå omfatte trinnene (i) til (iv): (i) bestemme minst to grupper som er i stand til å binde en sorbent fra et syntetisk eller naturlig første substrat, (ii) henholdsvis anvende minst to forskjellige grupper som er i stand til å binde et andre syntetisk eller naturlig substrat til en respektiv bærer og derved danne minst én sorbent, og hvor gruppene er de samme gruppene som i trinn (i) eller er grupper som er komplementære til disse, og hvor det andre substratet i trinn (ii) er det samme eller forskjellig fra substratet ifølge trinn (i), (iii) kontakte minst ett andre substrat som kan være det samme eller forskjellig fra det første substratet med minst én sorbent fra trinn (ii), (iv) teste bindestyrken for minst ett andre substrat til minst én sorbent fra trinn (iii) og bruke minst én sorbent hvis produksjon omfatter trinnene (i) til (ii). Oppfinnelsen angår også et kombinatorisk bibliotek som omfatter en samling av sorbenter som hver har minst to forskjellige grupper.
