Abstract
Den foreliggende søknad vedrører en fremgangsmåte for granulering av metallsmelter, hvor en kontinuerlig stråle av flytende metall ved hjelp av minst en gasstrøm oppdeles til metalldråper og gir metalldråpene en fremover- og oppoverrettet kastebevegelse og hvor metalldråpene oppsamles i en nedenforliggende renne med strømmende vann hvori de avkjøles og transporteres til en oppsamlingsanordning. Søknaden vedrører videre en apparatur for granulering av metallsmelter som io utgjøres av et reservoar 1 for smeltet metall med midler for uttømming av en kontinuerlig metallstråle 2 fra reservoaret 1, minst en dyse 3 for å dirigere en gasstrøm mot metallstrålen 2, samt en renne 5 med midler for å tilveiebringe en kontinuerlig vannstrøm i rennen hvilken renne er anordnet på et lavere nivå enn gassdysen eller gassdysene 3.
