Description
Øvelsesammunisjon.
Patent nr. 119.168 omhandler en øvelsesammunisjon,
hvor projektilet som er utformet på tilsvarende måte som ved skarp ammunisjon, er utstyrt med en gjennomgående sentral aksial boring. Hensikten med dette er å redusere projektilets tverrsnitt, slik at bare en andel av drivkruttenergien, som tilsvarer det reduserte projektiltverrsnitt, blir utnyttet og det på denne måten blir frem-brakt et projektil med kort rekkevidde.
I patent nr. 119.168 er dertil angitt, at man ved tilsvarende utmåling av det indre tverrsnitt på projektilboringen har den mulighet å kunne variere projektilets rekkevidde innenfor forholdsvis vide grenser. Selvfølgelig er det mulig å gå utover de der angitte forhold mellom indre tverrsnitt på projektilboringen og projektilets kaliber på ca. 1 : 3, f.eks. kan man gå til et forhold på ca. 1:2, hvorved projektilets rekkevidde blir videre forminsket.
En videre mulighet til å nedsette projektilets rekkevidde, består ifølge patent nr. 119.168 også deri, at veggen i projektilboringen ikke blir glatt utformet, men gjort ru.
I hensiktsmessig videre utforming av en slik øvelsesammunisjon med en patronhylse som inneholder drivladningen og tenningen og et projektil med en gjennomgående sentral aksial boring hvor projektilet er adskilt fra drivladningen utelukkende ved hjelp av en lett ødeleggbar tildekning, f.eks. en pappskive,
en folie av metall eller kunststoff eller med en ved hjelp av en tappformet ansats i boringen fastklembar kunststoffsprøytedel fore-slåes ifølge oppfinnelsen at projektilet er utformet som et hovedsakelig hulsylindrisk legeme med en i hvert fall ved sin fremre ende i forhold til projektilaksen loddrett ringformet endeflate og som eventuelt ved sin fremre og/eller bakre ende utvendig har en kjegleformet avskrånende form.
Ved en projektilform, som tilsvarer den for skarp ammunisjon, altså en slik med ogival spiss, ville det ved en aksial gjennomboring ved den fremre ende nødvendigvis fremkomme en skarp kant. Som man lett innser, kan ved et slikt projektil den ønskede mer eller mindre store avstumping av i hvert fall den fremre projektilende utformes ved at projektilet ved denne fremre ende blir mere eller mindre sterkt forkortet, slik at det dannes en tilsvarende bred ringformet endeflate.
Hvis det i sammenheng med et således utformet projektil blir gjort bruk av det i patent nr. 119.168 foreslåtte tiltak, nem-lig å forlenge projektilet ved hjelp av en innsats til dets opp-rinnelige form, så må naturligvis den del av projektilet som faller bort ved forkortningen være tilføyet som et tillegg på denne innsatsen, d.v.s, at denne er tilsvarende lengere utformet.
Istedenfor å gi projektilet en form, som tilsvarer den for skarp ammunisjon, kan denne utførelse være slik, at det hulsylindriske projektil-legeme ved sin fremre og/eller bakre ende utvendig har fått en kjegleformet avskrånende form, d.v.s. at projektil-legemet som dreielegeme er utforme* med den enkleste form-givning. Også herved kan naturligvis tilføyningen av en spesiell
innsats som gir den fulle projektilform tenyttes.
Oppfinnelsen er i det følgende nærmere forklart ved hjelp av eksempler på utføralsen som er fremstilt på tegningen,
som viser i
fig. 1 et projektil-legeme som i begge ender har en kjegleformet avskrånende form,
fig. 2 et projektil-legeme ifølge fig. 1 som er for-lenget til den fulle projektilform og
fig. 3 en modifikasjon til fig. 2.
Ifølge fig. 1 er det utvendige hovedsakelig sylindrisk utformede legeme 1, med gjenaomgående sentral åpning 2, ved begge sine ender 3 og 4 kjegleformet. Istedenfor de viste forskjellige kjeglevinkler kan disse også være like store ved begge ender eller også være omvendt anordnet.
Ifølge fig. 2 er det i den fremre ende av legemet 1 eller i dets åpning 2 ved hjelp av den ta.ppf ormede ansats 6 satt inn innsatsen 5» som forlenger legemet i dets ytre form til et fullstendig projektil av vanlig utformning. I den bakre ende av legemet 1 er tappen 7 satt inn, som med det flensliknende bånd 8 griper over den bakre endeflate til legemet 1.
Ved avfyringen blir ved hjelp av drivkruttgassens trykk dette bånd 8 lett revet istykker og tappen 7 drevet gjennom åpningen 2, hvor den treffer på ansatsen 6 til innsatsen 5 og derved støter denne ut forover gjennom åpningen 2, slik at legemet 1 alene skyter frem mot målet.
Ved utførelseseksemplene i fig. 3 er det istedenfor tappen 7 satt inn bunnproppen 9 med ansatsen 10 i den bakre enden av åpningen 2. Ved overgangen fra den hulsylindriske del til ansatsen er denne propp utstyrt med en svekket sone, slik at den her blir revet istykker under virkningen av drivkruttgassene. Tilsvarende blir ansatsen 10 igjen-drevet gjennom åpningen 2, treffer på ansatsen 6 og støter via denne innsatsen 5 fremover og ut av åpningen 2, slik at også her legemet 1 alene skyter frem mot målet, hvorved det på grunn av den forholdsvis store endeflate 11, såvel som åpningen 2 blir sterkt avbremset og derved bare tilbakelegger en kort strekning.
Claims (1)
- Øvelsesammunisjon med en patronhylse som inneholderdrivladningen og tenningen og et projektil med en gjennomgående sentral aksial boring, hvor projektilet er adskilt fra drivladningen utelukkende ved hjelp av en lett ødeleggbar tildekning, f.eks. en pappskive, en folie av metall eller kunststoff eller med en ved hjelp av en tappformet ansats i boringen fastklembar kunststoffsprøytedel, karakterisert ved at projektilet er utformet som et hovedsakelig hulsylindrisk legeme^' (l) med en i hvertfall ved sin fremre ende i forhold til projektilaksen loddrett ringformet endeflate (li) og som eventuelt ved sin fremre og/eller bakre ende utvendig har en kjegleformet avskrånende form.
