Description

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av et viklingsrør av termoplastisk kunststoff, ved hvilken et profilbånd av termoplastisk kunststoff, hvis ene båndkant har et steg og hvis andre båndkant har en vulst som er anordnet i et spor, vikles opp skruelinjeformet om en av-støtning, hvorved steget til den forangående vinding kontinuerlig innføres i sporet til det tilførte profilbånd.
Det er tidligere kjent en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av et viklingsrør av et profilbånd, hvis ene side har en nøkkelhullformet spordel og ved hvis andre side det er utformet en stegdel som svarer til denne spordel. Forbindelsen mellom spor og steg oppnås ved inntrykning av stegdelen i den elastisk utvidede spordel som etter opphevningen av utvidelsen lukker seg rundt steget. Den således oppnådde elastiske fastholding kan forbedres ved hjelp av et klebestoffmellomsjikt mellom stegoverflate og sporoverflate.
Videre er det kjent til forbindelse av profilbånd
på en båndkant å anordne flere steg med komplimentaere utspar-inger i vulsten på den andre båndkant og derved å øke den oppnådde elastiske fastholding. Videre er det også kjent å utfor-me steget som horisontalt, med en hake ved den fremre ende ut-styrt forlengelse av et profilbånd som blir innskjøvet i et likeledes horisontalt utformet spor under elastisk deformering av dette spor.
Fremstillingen av viklingsrør ved elastiske forbind-elser mellom spor og steg har den ulempe at det bare kan velges meget bestemte profilformer ved hvilke en elastisk innpressing akkurat enda er mulig. Den elastiske forbindelsestype har videre' den ulempe at de således fremstilte rør ikke er torsjons-stive. For å oppnå en god avtetning av forbindelsesstedet er det ubetinget nødvendig å innføre tetningsmidler mellom spor og steg, f. eks. i form av et bindemiddel.
Til slutt er det dessuten kjent å fremstille rør av polyetylenbånd ved vikling, hvorved båndene presses mot hverandre i det termoplastiske område og således sammensveises til et rør. Fremstillingen av slike rør er komplisert, og stivhe-ten til rør fremstilt på denne måten er i mange tilfeller util-strekkelig.
Den oppgave som ligger til grunn for oppfinnelsen er å tilveiebringe en fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av vik-lingsrør med hvilken det på enkel måte kan oppnås en meget fast og tett rørkonstruksjon.
Dette blir ifølge oppfinnelsen oppnådd ved en fremgangsmåte av den innledningsvis nevnte type ved at det tilførte profilbånd oppmykes til en tilstand i det øvre termoelastiske område og etter innføringen av steget i sporet kjøles ved hjelp av det allerede avkjølte steg og fortrinnsvis også ekstra trykkluft.
Da mykningen av profilbåndet ligger i det øvre termoelastiske område, må ved anvendelsen av prefabrikerte profilbånd båndet oppvarmes tilsvarende. Blir profilbåndet tilført mens det kommer direkte fra ekstruderen, må det nødvendigvis sørges for en tilsvarende avkjøling. Avkjølingen av den fremstilte forbindelse kan skje utenfra, hensiktsmessig imidlertid innenfra, idet ifølge et videre trekk ved oppfinnelsen steget før innføringen i sporet avkjøles til romtemperatur.
Det ifølge fremgangsmåten i samsvar med oppfinnelsen fremstilte rør har på grunn av krympningsfestingen av spor og steg en fast og tett struktur, danner i sitt indre en glatt strømningskanal og er vidtgående fri for viklingsspenninger.
Det fra ekstruderen kommende profilbånd blir av-kjølt så langt, eller hvis det prefabrikeres oppvarmet så langt i en oppvarmingskanal til det har nådd en i det øvre termoelastiske område liggende oppmykningstilstand. Ved hjelp av en føringsinnretning blir det på en profilside utformede spor, som hensiktsmessig er svalehaleformet, utvidet. Umiddel-bart deretter blir profilbåndet påført på avstøtningen, f. eks. en roterende trommel, hvorved det utvidede spor til den ene profilkant anordnes rundt steget til den andre profilkant. Fastpressingsvalser trykker båndet mot overflaten til den først sylindriske trommel, hvorved det samtidig foretas en kjøling utenfra ved hjelp av trykkluft. Kjølingen skjer hensiktsmessig slik at steget til det påførte profilbånd er avkjølt til romtemperatur før forbindelsen, mens vulsten holdes på en tempera-tur som svarer til det øvre termoelastiske område. Trykkluft-kjølingen akselererer avkjølingen til forbindelsen mellom spor og steg, slik at det oppnås en fast krympeforbindelse. Da ved avkjølingen hele røret krymper noe, utformes hensiktsmessig den til den sylindriske trommeldel tilsluttede trommeldel kon-isk avsmalnende, slik at det ferdige rør automatisk løper av trommelen.. Isteden for utvidelsen av sporet kan eventuelt også steget ved sammenpressing deformeres elastisk slik at det etter innføringen i sporet igjen inntar sin opprinnelige form og ligger an mot sporets indre vegger, som ved krympingen slutter seg fast rundt dette. Isteden for et spor og et steg på hver side av profilbåndet kan det i en vulst være anordnet flere ved siden.av hverandre liggende spor og på den andre profil-båndside tilsvarende mange og tilpassede stegdeler, hvorved det oppnås en bedre sammenfesting av røret. Rørstrukturen kan dessuten forbedres ved at det på den foran omtalte måte forbin-des flere over hverandre anordnede rørvegglag med hverandre. Forbindelsesvulsten som omgir røret skruélinjeformet øker samtidig rørets stivhet.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende nærmere forklares ved hjelp av utførelseseksempler som er fremstilt på tegningene, som viser: fig. 1 et skjematisk riss av trommelen med fastpressingsvalser og- av kjølingsinnretningen, sett i aksial ret-ning,
fig. 2 et skjematisk riss av en del av innretningen, delvis i snitt med et allerede ferdig fremstilt rørstykke,
sett i perspektiv,
fig. 3-6 det profilerte bånd' i de forskjellige trinn under viklingsprosessen, sett i snitt,
fig. 7 et ferdig rør, sett fra siden,
fig. 8 et profil av båndet, hvor det over hele bred-den avvekslende er tilformet steg og spor,
fig. 9 den samme profil som på fig. 8, termoelastisk deformert, kort før viklingsprosessen,
fig. 10 et utsnitt av veggen til et ferdig viklings-rør,
fig. 11 et tverrsnitt gjennom et profilert profilbånd.
I det følgende blir de enkelte figurer forklart. På fig. 1 blir trommelen betegnet med 1, fastpressingsrullene med 2, kjøleinnretningen med 3 og det profilerte bånd med 4.
På fig. 2 ser man profilbåndet 4 med steg 5 og vulst 6 i snitt, ovenfor hvilket fastpressingsrullen 2 er anordnet med utskjæringer 7 over vulsten 6. De stiplede linjer viser tydelig hvordan steg og spor føres sammen, etter at på forhånd sporet ved hjelp av en dor 8 og en føringsinnretning 9 er blitt utvidet. Fig. 3 viser et lengdesnitt gjennom en del av veggen til viklingsrøret med to forbindelsessteder med steg 5 og vulst 6.
På fig. 4 er det vist et lengdesnitt gjennom en del av rørveggen i den tilstand hvor steget til det profilerte bånd etter å ha forlatt en klebedyse i det termoelastiske område blir elastisk deformert, og fig. 5 viser hvordan sporet i vulsten (til høyre på tegningen) i det termoelastiske område elastisk blir utvidet ved hjelp av doren 8 på føringsinnretnin-gen 9> Fig. 6 viser et lengdesnitt gjennom en del av veggen til viklingsrøret. De tykke linjer betegner de steder hvor det for avtetting av et rør ved viklingsprosessen blir innført klebemidler eller oppløsningsmidler.
Fig. 8 og 10 viser profilbånd med hvis hjelp det er mulig å vikle rør med forskjellige veggtykkelser. Herved be-nyttes det samme sammenhakningsprinsipp som ved profilbåndet som er vist på fig. 3- Således blir også stegene til profilene elastisk deformert kort før viklingsprosessen, som vist på fig. 9, analogt til fig. 4.
Ved hjelp av flere viklingslag og anvendelsen av profilene på fig. 8 og 10 kan det herved fremstilles rør med forskjellige veggtykkelser, slik som fig. 11 viser.

Claims (2)

1. Fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av et viklingsrør av termoplastisk kunststoff, ved hvilken et profilbånd av termoplastisk kunststoff, hvis ene båndkant har et steg og hvis andre båndkant har et i en vulst anordnet spor, vikles skruelinjeformet om en avstøtning, hvorved steget, til den forangående vinding kontinuerlig innføres i sporet til det tilførte profilbånd, karakterisert ved at det tilførte profilbånd oppmykes til en tilstand i det øvre termoelastiske område og etter innføringen av steget i sporet kjøles ved hjelp av det allerede avkjølte steg, og fortrinnsvis ekstra ved hjelp av trykkluft.
2. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1,karakterisert ved at steget avkjøles til romtemperatur før inn-føringen i sporet.
