Abstract

The valve is used for controlling fluid flow between inlet and outlet. The closure element has an actuating stem rotating in a seal in the valve assembly which is rotated by a hollow, sealed handle. The rigid, long curved actuating handle (24) is connected to the valve stem and is enclosed by a tube (25) which is not connected to the handle. One end (26) of this tube is connected to the valve housing (10) and sealed there. The tube other end is closed tightly with a cap (30). The outside end of the flexible tube (25) or its closing cap (30) can be used as the handle. No fluid is leaked into atmosphere.
