Abstract

A holder with a screw top has a row of projecting teeth below the thread. One or more teeth on the skirt of the top engage the teeth on the bottle. The skirt is flexible radially so that the teeth can be disengaged by deforming it. The bottle cannot be opened by children. As the top is screwed on the teeth are so formed that they spring over each other. In one arrangement the skirt has internal teeth which loosely engage teeth on the outside of the bottleneck.
