Abstract

1,134,123. Stoppers. HANS SCHWARZKOPF. 8 July, 1966 [8 July, 1965]; No. 30822/66. Heading B8T. A resilient plastics stopper 2 has two adjacent frusto-conical surfaces 4 with a common minimum diameter which coact with corresponding surfaces in the neck B of a glass or plastics bottle 1. A circular flat surface 3 around the stopper seats on a similar surface A around the top of the neck B. The stopper 2 can be removed from the neck B by lateral thumb-pressure. As a modification, the stopper may be solid.
