Abstract

The front part of the vehicle (1) containing the potatoes to be planted has a pivot mounted reversing-mechanism (33) connected by a primay lever-system (34) to the draw-bar (7). The reversing-mechanism (33) is connected by a second lever-system (35) to the drive-mechanism (5) of the potato-conveyor (4) and to at least one of the implements (32). The drive-mechanism (5) is disconnected from its connection with the conveyor (4) and at least one of the implements (32) is raised when the front end part of the vehicle (1) is raised. The first lever-system (34) has a lever (36) linked to a lever (37) fixed to the reversing-mechanism (33). The second lever system (35) has a lever (40 or 42) fixed to the reversing-mechanism (33) which is pivot-mounted on a forward-projecting arm (24).
