Abstract

One end of the boom (1) is pivotally mounted on a frame which is pivotally connected (6) to the front of a tractor (3). Pivot (6) is vertical and pivot (4) is horizontal. The other end of the boom is supported by two freely steerable marker wheels, one behind the other, carried by a beam (7). The boom can also be towed behind the tractor for transport, and to facilitate this the orientation of the wheels can be locked.
