Abstract

The outer sleeve of this connector fits over the end of a cable conduit and has a thread for connection purposes at one end with a longitudinal and circumferential cut at the other end. A ring over this outer sleeve carries a screw that compresses the cut portion of the sleeve onto the conduit to provide the gripping action. An interior sleeve of the connector fits inside the conduit. The end of this sleeve has a turned-up flange that mates with the outer sleeve and makes it water-tight. This connector can be used with a spiral metal conduit with a plastic sleeve lining.
