Abstract

The connector (1) is suitable for joining onto a pipe bend (6). It is fabricated of plastic material and is fitted at the inner end with a male taper thread od suitable length to screw into the bend (6) and form a joint. The barrel of the connector is cylindrical and tapped with a female thread. The outer end of the connector is hexagonal on the outside, so that the inner joint may be made. The connector is then cut off flush with the wall and the tap (9) is screwed into position.
