Abstract

The vessel (1) has glide surfaces (2, 3) pivoted (6, 7) to the bottom and adjustable from a position in which they lie against the hull to a position at an angle to the hull. The pivots are preferably at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal centre line of the vessel. Between the surfaces (2, 3) there may be additional surfaces (4, 5) pivoted (8, 9) to the surfaces (2, 3) and to each other (10). The additional surfaces may be pivotable downards, or upwards or both. The surfaces (2, 3) may be adjustable by means of pivoted rods (11, 12) to a central, vertically adjustable pivot point (13). The central pivot (13) may, in addition, be laterally adjustable.
