Abstract

The radio receiver has a high frequency input (1), connected to a mixer for intermediate frequency (3), an I;F. amplifier (7), a decoder (11) and an output speaker (13). The intermediate frequency input via an oscillator (19) is supplied by an integration circuit (43) which delivers the tuning signal (21). The main units are a signal generator power pack (23), a counter (33), timing pulse generator (35) a signal combination unit (25) an amplifier (39) and an integrator (43). The latter unit has a network with three resistors (47, 51, 55) in series, with connections points earthed by a 6-volt Zener diode (49), and two smoothing condensers (53, 57). The smoothing circuit acts as a digital-analogue integrator and is followed by an operational amplifier (59). In an alternative form, the Zener diode is replaced by a voltage stabilising integrated circuit.
