Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the LSI-implementation of circuits by digitally performing the processing of all circuits while generating many kinds of frequencies, by varying the output frequency-division value of a frequency-division-ratio varying circuit provided to a frequency-dividing circuit in accordance with input data. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency clock signal generated by high-frequency oscillator 11 is applied to frequency-dividing circuit 12 which uses a presettable counter whose frequency-division ratio can adequately be set. Division-ratio varying circuit 13 is applied with input data 1 and 0 and further supplied with a signal for control over the frequency-division ratio of frequency-dividing circuit 12 by changing modes such as kinds of apparatuses. The output of frequency-dividing circuit 12 is counted by counter 14, whose count value is converted by D/A converter 15 into an analog signal, which is passed through filter 16 to output a signal of a fixed frequency. In accordance with input data, the output frequency-division value of frequency- division-ratio varying circuit 13 connected to frequency-dividing circuit 12 is varied to generate many kinds of frequencies by frequency-dividing circuit 12 and the whole of processing is digitized to facilitate the LSI-implementation of the circuit.
