Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a filter having sudden characteristics with no rotation of the phase, by dividing the signal frequency into the low and high frequencies on the basis of a certain frequency. CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that the signal to be applied to a filter is set at sin18kHz+sin8kHz and then divided on the bases of the 10kHz central frequency. If the SSB wave is produced on the basis of 10kHz, sin8kHz-sin2kHz... (I) and cos8kHz-cos2kHz...(II) are obtained. When the phase is shifted by pi/ 2 for the equation (II), -sin8kHz-sin2kHz...(III) is obtained. Then the addition/ subtraction is applied to the equations (I) and (III) to obtain a high frequency component of sin88kHz and a low frequency component of sin2kHz, respectively. These components are set back to the original frequencies by means of the central frequency 10kHz to obtain a high frequency of sin18kHz from the equation (IV) and a low frequency of sin8kHz from the equation (V) respectively.
