Abstract

The holder is for use in a bottle-washing machine, having a metal support with plastic inserts with tapered ends accommodating the bottles. Each insert (2) fits in the support (1) with a face (6) bearing against a mating one (5) on the support to prevent the insert sliding towards the tapered end (4), and is secured in place by portions (7) of the support snapping into engagement behind locking faces running at right angles to the insert centre line (8), so that it cannot slide towards the wider end (3). The face (6) on the insert can be in the form of shoulder near the wider end, and the portions (7) of the support in that of a supporting edge extending radially inwards, situated between the shoulder and the locking faces.
