Abstract

The wall fitting element comprises an inner tube (1) of plastics or of the cable element and an outer shield tube (2). The latter is retained by a slamp nut (3) with an inner retaining packing ring (4), which is compressed against a backing nut (6) restraining another packing ring (5). The latter packing is initially in the form of a hollow conical tube, the narrow edge of which is inserted between the inner and outer tubes and forms a tight seal after compression. The two clamp nuts screw together and preferably have a hexagonal external form. The smaller packing ring has an annular shape with a concave outer peripheral profile.
