A flexible tube 2 is pushed over a plug extension 1b of a rigid tubular body 1 and a nut 3 is screwed on to a threaded portion of the body to compress the tube against the plug and force the end of the tube to expand into an annular cavity 1c, 2a formed by the nut and the body 1. The surface 1d may be rough to prevent rotation of the tube on assembly.
