Wanneer de pellet in de brandkamer terecht is gekomen worden ze door de verbranding kleiner en vallen ze doormiddel van tralies door naar beneden voor de naverbranding. Door de luchtstroming wordt het as van pellet afgevoerd in de kachel. Andere brandstoffen kunnen als de conventionele houtkachels door de deur de kachel ingevoerd te worden..De warmte van de kachel geeft zich af aan de binnenmantel,door een waterstroming tussen beide mantels. Dit warme water kan aangesloten worden op een centrale CV-verwarming en naast verwarming van. een ruimte tevens warm water, stoom bieden. Het materiaal van de pellet kachel betreft ijzer en is gelast tot een kachel- constructie door samenkomende pijpen.
