Abstract

Un aparato automatizado, generador de senales permite la prueba de dispositivos electronicos controlados a distancia para verificar la funcionalidad y confiabilidad, o para el ajuste del producto, de inicializacion o configuracion del mismo. El aparato simula una persona que presiona las teclas en un teclado numerico de control remoto y puede simular las secuencias de las presiones de tecla, la duracion de la presion de tecla y el tiempo entre las presiones de tecla. Tambien se pueden simular otras interfaces humanas. El aparato se puede accionar continuamente por una computadora externa en un modo esclavizado o se pueden almacenar las instrucciones de prueba en una memoria interna para operar en un modo autosuficiente. Las instrucciones de prueba, que se escriben en un lenguaje de macroescritura, se procesan por un microprocesador para proporcionar una senal de control a por ejemplo, un transmisor de rayos infrarrojos (IR). El transmisor de IR puede controlar uno o mas dispositivos electronicos que estan a prueba. El transmisor puede usar un haz de IR de angulo amplio o una pluralidad de transmisores separados para probar una pluralidad de dispositivos electronicosal mismo tiempo. En un modo de aprendizaje humano, las senales de control de una interfaz humana se procesan para proporcionar la compresion en el tiempo o repeticion de una secuencia de control fija.
