Abstract

Se describen composiciones de materia y composiciones catalizadoras efectivas para la conversion en fase de gas de propano en acido acrilico (por medio de oxidacion) o en acrilonitrilo (por medio de amoxidacion), y de isobutano en acido metacrilico (por medio de oxidacion) e isobutano en metracrilonitrilo (por medio de amoxidacion). Las composiciones catalizadoras que se prefieren comprenden molibdeno, vanadio, novio, antimonio y germanio y molibdeno, vanadio, tantalio, antimonio y germanio. Se describen tambien metodos para preparar esta composiciones y composiciones relacionadas, incluyendo metodos de sintesis hidrotermica. Los catalizadores preferidos convierten propano en acido acrilico y/o en acrilonitrilo, e isobutano en acido metacrilico/metacrilonitrilo con un rendimiento de por lo menos aproximadamente 50%.
