Abstract

Un metodo para cristalizar melamina en estado fundido para formar particulas de melamina con un D90 de a lo sumo 2 mm enfriando la melamina en estado fundido a menos de la temperatura de cristalizacion de la melamina, que comprende la formacion de una suspension de particulas de melamina en el medio de enfriamiento, asperjando la melamina en estado fundido con un maximo de 10% en peso de CO2 relativo a la cantidad asperjada de melamina en estado fundido, en un espacio en el cual esta presente una capa de un medio de enfriamiento liquido que tiene una temperatura inferior a la temperatura de cristalizacion de la melamina, y bajo condiciones de enfriamiento en las cuales por lo menos el 50% en peso de la melamina asperjada en estado fundido se convierte directamente en particulas suspendidas de melamina; un metodo para la produccion de la melamina a partir de urea en un procedimiento a alta presion, de preferencia continuo, con la aplicacion del presente metodo para la cristalizacion.
