Abstract
Se proporciona un sensor de acoplamiento direccional para medir el contenido de humedad de un sustrato como el cabello. El sensor incorpora un acoplador direccional de alta frecuencia que tiene un par de placas en terminos generales paralelas que definen una separacion de acoplamiento entre las mismas. Un generador de senal de alta frecuencia genera un campo electromagnetico a traves de la separacion con el sustrato colocado a traves de la separacion de acoplamiento. La energia de acoplamiento se relaciona con el contenido de humedad del sustrato. Se proporciona un sensor de presion para asegurar que la compactacion deseada del sustrato a traves de la separacion de acoplamiento se logre para obtener resultados exactos, confiables y consistentes.
