Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a metodos y composiciones novedosas para el diagnostico, tratamiento y pronostico de los trastornos relacionados con el receptor unido a la proteina G (GPCR) por medio de la inhibicion de reguladores de las proteinas de senalizacion de la proteina G (RGS). La presente invencion se refiere a metodos de separacion por exclusion y evaluacion de los compuestos de prueba utiles en la intervencion y prevencion de los trastornos relacionados con GPCR incluyendo los trastornos neuropsiquiatricos y cardiopulmonares. La invencion se refiere ademas a metodos para identificar los inhibidores para la expresion o actividad de RGS los cuales son utiles en la modulacion de las rutas de senalizacion de GPCR.
