Abstract

Un sistema de grabacion de video (10) monitorea una escena para detectar la ocurrencia de un evento dentro de la escena; una camara (C1) monitorea la escena y proporciona una senal de video representativa de la escena; un sensor (C2) detecta el movimiento dentro de una porcion de la escena observada y proporciona una senal indicativa del movimiento; un procesador (12) que esta conectado a la camara y al sensor, determina si hay algun movimiento dentro de la escena; y si lo hay, la porcion de la escena en donde este ocurrio basandose en las senales recibidas desde la camara y el sensor; el procesador produce una senal indicativa del evento y la porcion de la escena en donde este ocurrio; una grabadora de video digital (18) que esta conectada al procesador graba la escena y la senal indicativa de la ocurrencia del evento.
