Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona a moleculas de ADN y construcciones de ADN las cuales promueven la maduracion de la fruta de papaya. La presente invencion esta dirigida tambien a metodos para promover o retrasar la maduracion de plantas de papaya a traves de la transformacion de la papaya con construcciones de ADN las cuales contienen acidos nucleicos los cuales codifican proteinas o polipeptidos implicados en la maduracion de papaya. La invencion se relaciona tambien a sistemas de expresion, celulas huesped, y plantas los cuales contienen tales construcciones de ADN.
