La invencion se refiere a una cubierta de mesa o de banco de trabajo que consta de una primera capa electricamente conductora con una resistencia especifica en la gama de 5 x l06 Ocm a 5 x 109 Ocm y una segunda capa electricamente conductora con una resistencia especifica en la gama de 5 x 104 Ocm a 5 x 107 Ocm, siendo que las capas constan de mezclas de goma que contienen agentes antiestaticos y/o particulas electricamente conductoras, y ensambladas mediante calandrado y unidas mediante vulcanizacion y que tienen un contenido de sulfato capaz de ser extraido con agua desionizada < 100 ¦g/cm2.
